Since there is so much love and excitement about the diet, I have decided to go ahead and post at least one recipe tonight! :-). This is a juice that I invented just this morning. I named it the Bloody Passion Juice. I made it with all my love with my partner, Nathan!
Ingredients:
2 whole organic carrots
1 large Red Bell Pepper (Capsicum)
3 Green Apples
1 big bowl of Blackberries (I picked them from the trees in my own backyard but you can buy Blackberries at any store!)
Makes enough for 2 people to have one time. Double the quantity if you want to make it to drink 2 times. A good big glassful for each person. :-)
Recipe:
Put them all in the juicer and let it juice up! The apples, please remember to remove the seeds and cut it into atleast 4 pieces each. All the other things, including the carrots, you can put it in whole (of course remove the shoot off the top).
Super yummy and tangy. The tanginess comes from the Blackberries and the Green Apples. It is very filling and very flavorful and because it has Capsicum (Bell Peppers), it also has many anti-inflammatory properties so is very good for the body. The Blackberries are very good antioxidants and great for good blood flow. Carrots of course have great health benefits and are very good for the skin and eyes.
